Casiotone for the Painfully Alone is the musical solo-project of musician Owen Ashworth of San Francisco, California. His music is created with solely battery-operated keyboards and other electronic musical instruments and has toured with other similar acclaimed indie artists like Cass McCombs, Kill Me Tomorrow, Jumbling Towers, The Rapture and Xiu Xiu. Clue to Kalo mastermind Mark Mitchell applies a lo-fi aesthetic to pristine computer/based production to his music.
